Alex Biedron - Apprentice
Car washer extraordinaire and qualified personal fitness coach. Alex brings young charm to the office and is always putting his hands up to help out in all aspects of the operation.
Scott Harris - Founder & CEO
The management team is led by Scott Harris, who has extensive knowledge garnered from 21 years of experience in the industry from working with other firms and having had the last 13 years of self management. During this time, Scott has personally overseen more than 3000 funerals. Scott is a caring individual who has a positive empathetic attitude towards others and is passionate about the industry because it serves as a platform to help families in their time of need.
Izabela Biedron - Arranger
Polish speaking assistant funeral arranger and mother charm to the group. Izabela brings social worker care and understanding to the Afterlife team and families that we care for.
Lee Parkinson - Advertising Specialist
Lee is currently based in our Thailand office and has worked for the Afterlife Funerals group for 7 years. Having run his own design studio in Cape Town South Africa, Lee understands our motto for need it now. Working additional hours to complete deadlines and having extensive knowledge in branding, advertising & the internet. Lee’s role is a needed asset to Afterlife Funerals. We are hoping to see him in the land of Oz one day to understand more of our cultural ways and slang.
Phillip Brown – Arranger / Celebrant
The key position to any funeral is the celebrant or minister. Phillip delivers an exceptional service and is always complimented. Showing loyalty to the firm over 7 years, Phillip has had added training in arranging and conducting the funerals when he isn’t required as a celebrant. Phillip also brings extensive Sydney logistic knowledge to the group and is willing to strive that extra mile 24/7 to complete the tasks provided.
Sara Phiromnak - Thai Development Manager
Sara oversees the daily business operations offering more than 10 years’ experience as a General Manager. She shows extreme reliability and is a very cooperative team member. Sara also brings a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics and Operation Management to the business. Native Thai spoken, Sara also is a public speaker and former promotional model for a number of brands & products.
Louise Harris - Records Management
Louise offers behind the scenes commitment to the business. Educated in teaching holding a Masters degree, Louise brings customer service, record management CRM, and bi-lingual diversity to our ever-growing cultural society. Fluent in Mandarin, Shanghainese & English, with levels of conversation and knowledge in Cantonese, Japanese & Korean. Our Chinese translation and websites have been formally written by Louise.
Daniel Isaac - Bookkeeper and Marketing Manager
Arabic speaking and our Coptic funeral arranger. Daniel brings extensive knowledge from his trade accounting background, though offers excellent marketing and training procedures from his former retail management roles.
IAN - Director
IAN has been at the helm now for the last 17 months. Afterlife has seen some dynamic growth in the Asian funeral sector and some great newly appointed ideas that have changed the company for the best. IAN is the loyal employee as they say having worked his entire life for Shanghai Teachers University. Working his way through the electrical trade, and onto senior management. IAN has the spark to ignite our passion for success.
